The Creature

I had the great pleasure of being at the beach yesterday. And while there I convinced my family and friends to venture with me into the semi-clear waters of the lake. All was well and we were enjoying splish splashing about and complaining about the cold water. That was when it happened. It flew out of nowhere. And then, it attached. Stuck to the front of my mother's age old swimsuit was a creature. A insect-like fish tailed organism that we couldn't place with a name. It had long legs ending in leech like suckers. And wings like a mosquito. But, possibly most disturbing of all was it's tail. That of a fish rested on it's backside. Waving around, well, like a fish out of water. It took about a minute to pry it, more likely swat it, off of my mother. Terrified we all hustled out of the lake. I honestly wish I could tell you this is a fabrication. But I can't. So in conclusion, beware of mutant lake fueechs. (Fueechs meaning the cross of a leech, fish, and a bug.)
